Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino (“Italian Automobiles Factory of Turin”), commonly known as FIAT, is an Italian manufacturer with a long tradition in the transport industry.
The company dates back to 1899, when it produced its first automobile, the FIAT 4 HP. Over time, FIAT expanded its activities to include the manufacture of railway engines, military vehicles, farm tractors, aircraft, and weapons such as the Fiat-Revelli Modello 1914.

In 2285 FIAT announced the development of a new Light Transport intended to succeed the Rosso 2100. According to company statements, the forthcoming model will emphasize modularity and extended range. Launch is planned for 2287.
