The Federal Union of Vega, commonly known as Federal Vega or Fascist Vega, is a Non-Legacy Nation at the trailward edge of the Vega Cluster, with the Mistral Planetary System as its capital. It is a Regional Power, and a member of the League of Nations, African Union and Axis Powers. It is an authoritarian, fascist state created from German occupied territories following The Second Solar War. Closely linked to the German Reich since its inception, the Federal Union of Vega has become a regional power with significant influence, often acting in concert with Axis policies and interests. Its government maintains strict control over its populace, emphasizing military strength and pervasive nationalism. The economy of the Federal Union of Vega is heavily militarized, with a focus on arms production, resource extraction, and state-controlled industries. It borders the Democratic Republic of Vega along their shared demilitarized zone.

The First Vega War

In 2259, Federal Vega launched an invasion of Republican Vega territory. The resulting conflict, known as the First Vega War ended in 2263 in a stalemate, with minimal territorial change.
