The Democratic Republic of Vega, commonly known as Republican Vega, Red Vega, or Communist Vega, is a Non-Legacy Nation at the spinward edge of the Vega Cluster, with the Khazri Planetary System as its capital. It is a Regional Power, a member of the League of Nations, Arusha Pact, African Union and Communist Interstellar. It borders the Federal Union of Vega along their shared demilitarized zone.

The Cold War
The First Vega War
The First Vega War began in 2259 with the Federal Vega's attempted invasion of the Republican Vega territory. It concluded in 2263 in a stalemate, with virtually no territorial changes.
