The Encontro Das Águas is a subcluster of star systems located at the intersection of the Amazonia Cluster to the "West" and the Argentine Arm to the "East".

It is situated to the immediate "North" of the Bolivar Sea.

The subcluster includes one sovereign state: the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The Encontro Das Águas is principally comprised of seven primary star systems: Ilha De Vera Cruz, Pantanal, Pindorama, Quilombo, Santos-Dumont, Tiradentes, and Zumbi.

The Federative Republic of Brazil is the sole resident nation of the subcluster, controlling the majority of the systems and therefore maintains its largest population.

Etymology

The Meeting of Waters (Portuguese: Encontro das Águas) is named after the confluence of the Rio Negro and the Amazon River on Earth. The blackwater of the Rio Negro and the whitewater of the Amazon River flowed for 6 kilometers without until visually mixing, and for around 60 kilometers before mixing entirely. It was, historically, a major tourist attraction in the Brazilian state of Amazonas.
