Jagdgeschwader 77 (JG 77) "Beckhardt" is a fighter wing of the German Air Force (Luftwaffe). Its roles include Air Interdiction, Offensive Counter Air and Close Air Support. The wing flies the Me-712G multirole Aerospace Fighter.
History
In 2285, during combat operations in the Amalfi System, a pilot from the wing's seventh squadron reportedly shot down an enemy corvette, setting a new record for kills against light combatant starships.
