Brazil, officially the Federative Republic Brazil, is the Orion Arm's largest interstellar nation in the Amazonian Arm. It is a federation composed of its constituent states and federal districts. Brazil is the only Legacy Nation in the Amazonian Arm where Portuguese is an official language. Brazil is a member of the Non Aligned Movement, as well as the Union of South American States, and is generally regarded to be amongst the Great Powers of the Orion Arm - even competing with the Republic of India for leadership of the Non Aligned Movement.
