Panzerbrandgranate 101
The Panzerbrandgranate 101, or PzBrgr ThDU 101, is a type of German railgun round intended for anti-starship warfare. It is currently produced in a various calibers and predominantly in service within the German Reich, and select Axis nations.
Known colloquially as "Firecracker Rods", the round consists of a depleted uranium penetrating rod surrounded by a thermobaric filler. Upon penetration, the filler is designed to initiate an intense exothermic reaction, generating a high-temperature incendiary effect aimed at causing catastrophic internal damage to enemy starships.
