January 1, 1933	In a remote region of the Philippine islands, an unknown substance is first observed by American researchers.	Discovery of the Scinfaxi Virus
First Scinfaxi War (1944-1957)
	1944	Everywhere on Earth, dazzling lights are reported from within the Outgrowths. In many areas, the phenomenon is so bright, day turns to night.
	1944	A machine of unknown origin emerges from an Outgrowth in New Jersey, USA. It vaporizes local military forces and is only destroyed after 99 hours of intense fighting.
	1944	Hundreds and then thousands of similar machines emerge from Outgrowths across the planet.
	1944	Every significant pre-war line is breached. The emerging war turns into a slow retreat.
July 22, 1955	All further offensive campaigns to retake the Outgrowths are suspended.
