The Frontier Union (FU) is a political movement located in the far frontier, it is an organization that exists as a front for region's largest one of the region's largest criminal organizations. It coopts populist and anti-imperialist rhetoric to build local support and mask its ilicit operations from the public. It extorts local planetary governments, stations for security payments, better known as protection rackets in exchange for protection against piracy, maintaining order or simply to prevent attacks by the frontier union itself.
