It is situated directly spinward of the Sunset Gates.
The McCrae Test and Training Range is comprised of six star systems: Belleau Wood, Cantigny, Marne, McCrae, Mont Saint-Quentin, and Passchendaele.
Etymology
The McCrae Test and Training Range is named after Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae, an officer in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces during the Great War who wrote the famous war memorial poem "In Flanders Fields." Every star system in the subcluster save for McCrae is named after a famous battle that occurred during the Great War where the Entente was victorious.
