The Champlain Group is the Orion Arm’s foremost independent, open source, intelligence and risk assessment organization. Operating across the whole of the Orion Arm, we provide timely reporting, in-depth analysis, and curated historical records for clients ranging from sovereign governments and interstellar corporations to freelancers, and local authorities.

Königsberg-class Heavy Cruiser
The Königsberg-class of heavy cruisers is a class of warships of the Kriegsmarine, first ordered and authorized in 2277. It was originally planned as a counter to the Soviet Retivyy-II cruiser which was scheduled to enter widespread service by 2280 as part of the Kriegsmarine’s Plan 89Z fleet modernization program. The Brazilian government has announced that an additional expeditionary division, consisting of some 14,000 soldiers, will be deployed to the border with Gran Columbia. It’s part of a series of measures aimed at deterring “border mafias” operating in neutral star systems.
