The Encontro Das Águas is a subcluster of star systems located entirely within the Amazonia Cluster.
It is situated between the Local Cluster to the 'West' and the Argentine Arm to the 'East'.
The subcluster includes one sovereign state: the Federative Republic of Brazil.
The Encontro Das Águas is principally comprised of sixteen primary star systems: Pico Da Neblina, Amazónia, Cerrado, Cantiga, Ipiranga, Catedral, Alvares Cabral, Pindorama, Ilha De Vera Cruz, Santos-Dumont, Serenidade, Abrigo, Ceibo, Saudade, Poui, Vespucci, Do Amaral, Quilombo, Zumbi and Pantanal.

Etymology
The Encontro Das Águas (Meeting of Waters) comes from the confluence between the dark (blackwater) Rio Negro and the pale sandy-colored (whitewater) Amazon River.
