New-medievalism

New-medievalism (sometimes Neo-medievalism) is an astropolitical term that compares the structure of interstellar society to that of high-medieval Europe. It emphasizes the fragmented and overlapping nature of sovereignty, in which nation-states retain the majority of astropolitical initiative but increasingly share power with international organizations, megacorporations, and other non-state actors.
