Midnight Run
Midnight Run is a natural nomadic fleet that travels throughout the Orion Arm.
One of the largest of its type, Midnight Run has travelled through the territory of all the major blocs whilst maintaining a stance of political neutrality. Though its voluntary nature makes it difficult for outsiders to track the fleet’s numbers, the flotilla was recorded as being nearly ten thousand strong in 2285, as Midnight Run passed through the Garuda system and towards the Lyran Veil. While goods carried by fleets of a similar nature are often an attractive target for pirates, Midnight Run has demonstrated a strong competency in repelling such criminal elements. As such, some organisations such as the Dead Hands are known to avoid their route.
