The Merchants of Death is an informal designation applied to a list of the Orion Arm's most prolific and notorious arms dealers. The list is compiled and maintained by the Coalition of Interstellar Peace as part of its ongoing effort to monitor the illegal arms trade across interstellar jurisdictions.
Although unofficial, the list is widely recognized by major law enforcement agencies, including Interpol. Individuals featured on the list are often accused of trafficking weapons to conflict zones, supplying insurgent groups, and violating interstellar arms embargoes. Many of those listed are believed to operate under the protection of national or corporate backers.

#19 Alejandro Rodríguez Pérez
Known for his involvement in interstellar small-arms trafficking, Alejandro Rodríguez Pérez is a Comintern-affiliated arms dealer currently ranked nineteenth on the Merchants of Death list.
Initial reports placing him on the Merchants of Death list associated his activities with the Elysian Fields. Anonymous sources, including unnamed security officials, indicate that Rodríguez Pérez brokered small-arms deals for French-backed rebels in the region. His activities were interrupted following his capture. After spending two years in a German prison, Rodríguez Pérez was released in 2284 as part of a prisoner exchange with the Soviet Union. He subsequently resumed his activities in the interstellar arms trade.
A recent report by the Centauri Sentinel places him near the Arcturus System, suggesting a renewed presence within interstellar arms networks.
