RGSS Dolphin
The RGSS Dolphin was a medium-range interstellar liner that disappeared in the Far Frontier with 5108 passengers and crew on board and was later discovered with its passengers and crew either missing or dead.
Discovery
The Dolphin was found adrift in the Raincoast System. Initial reports suggested a violent scene of carnage akin to those found in Tristan, Five Hills, Sandhill, and on the F.C.Majestic whose populations were found violently killed with extensive mutilation.
Investigation
After the Dolphin was recovered, the Reunion Interstellar Safety Board and the Glasswall Transport Accident Investigation Commission released a joint statement reporting that only 1614 bodies had been recovered from the vessel, approximately one-third of the total passengers and crew.
Later, the remains of one of the passengers, a 37-year-old Reunion veteran of the Corporate War, was discovered on a remote moon in the Ashpoint System in a "completely eviscerated state." Questions were raised as to how he was discovered on the other side of the region from where the Dolphin was discovered. Additionally, several independent sources have reported that a military grade firearm, several explosives, and body armor were also recovered from the scene. Items which, according to the victim's family, were not on his person at the time of his departure aboard the Dolphin. The victim is now a person of interest in the investigation.
