The Saat Nadiyaan is a subcluster of star systems located entirely within the Indian Arm.
It is situated at the coreward-by-spinward-most section of the Indian Arm, forming the core of star systems controlled by the Republic of India.
The subcluster consists solely of star systems controlled by the Republic of India.
The Saat Nadiyaan is principally comprised seven primary star systems: Ganga, Godavari, Kaveri, Kshipra, Narmada, Saraswati, and Yamuna.
Etymology
From Hindi Sāt Nadiyā̃ (सात नदियाँ), ("seven rivers"). From Sanskrit Saptán Nadiī (सप्त नदी), ("seven rivers"). Referring to the Earth river namesakes for the star systems of the subcluster.
