The New American Colonies are a group of twelve star systems located entirely within the Sunset Gates. The subcluster includes twelve colonized systems belonging solely to the United States of America. As a Legacy Nation, it shares strong direct historical, cultural, and linguistic ties to a nation that once existed on Earth.
Etymology
The name "New American Colonies" is a reference to the Thirteen Colonies, the group of British colonies on the Atlantic coast of North America that would become the United States of America.
Astrography
The New American Colonies are situated trailward of the Sunset Gates, between the Symphony Subcluster spinward and Gateway Subcluster rimward.
