The Bolivar Sea is a subcluster of star systems located at the intersection of the Amazonia Cluster to the Spinward and the Argentine Arm to the Coreward.
It is situated to the immediate Rimward of the Encontro Das Aguas.
The subcluster includes two sovereign states: the Federative Republic of Brazil and Republic of Gran Colombia.
The Bolivar Sea is principally comprised of nine primary star systems: Bogota, Caracas, Do Amaral, Kalewtun, Lima, Panama, Quito, Salvador, and Viagem.
Etymology
The namesake of the Bolivar Sea is Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar Palacios Ponte y Blanco, a Venezuelan statesman and military officer who led what would become the countries of Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, and Bolivia to independence from the Spanish Empire in the early 19th century. He is known colloquially as El Libertador, or the Liberator of America.
