The Encruzilhada Subcluster is a subcluster of star systems located entirely within the Local Cluster.

The subcluster includes one sovereign state: the Bolivarian Republic of Callao.

The Encruzilhada Subcluster is principally comprised of eight primary star systems: Encruzilhada, Callao, Cartagena, Eyipantla, Antilia, Zonda, Brújula, and Roche.

Only one star system of the Encruzilhada Subcluster is significantly populated: Callao.

Etymology

From Portuguese encruzilhar (“to cross”), from Portuguese cruz (“cross”), from Old Galician-Portuguese cruz, from Latin crux (“cross”), from Proto-Indo-European *(s)ker- (“to turn, to bend”). Portuguese noun meaning "crossroads."
