Location:

Amazonia Cluster

Star Systems:

9

Nations:

The Bolivar Sea is a subcluster of star systems located entirely within the Amazonia Cluster.

It is situated rimward-by-trailward of the Encontro Das Aguas, and rimward of the Argentine Arm, and is the trailward-most subcluster controlled by the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The subcluster includes two sovereign states: the Federative Republic of Brazil and Republic of Gran Colombia.

The Bolivar Sea is principally comprised of nine primary star systems: Bogota, Caracas, Do Amaral, Kalewtun, Lima, Panama, Quito, Salvador, and Viagem.

Etymology

The namesake of the Bolivar Sea is Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar Palacios Ponte y Blanco, a Venezuelan statesman and military officer who led what would become the countries of Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, and Bolivia to independence from the Spanish Empire in the early 19th century. He is known colloquially as El Libertador, or the Liberator of America.
