The Saat Nadiyaan is a group of seven star systems located entirely within the Indian Arm. The subcluster includes seven colonized systems belonging solely to the Republic of India, including its capital system of Ganga. As a Legacy Nation, it shares strong direct historical, cultural, and linguistic ties to a nation that once existed on Earth.
Etymology
From Hindi Sāt Nadiyā̃ (सात नदियाँ), ("seven rivers"). From Sanskrit Saptán Nadiī (सप्त नदी), ("seven rivers"). Referring to the Earth river namesakes for the star systems of the subcluster.
Astrography
Saat Nadiyaan is situated at the coreward-most section of the Indian Arm, forming the core of star systems controlled by the Republic of India.
