Acadian Wars
The Acadian Wars were a series of interrelated conflicts fought between 2268 to 2282, with minor branches of the fighting continuing into the present day. With roughly 12 separate belligerents during the peak of the fighting, stated aims included wars of independence, ideology, along with limited ethnic conflicts and several insurgencies. Within the greater Cold War, the conflict was considered a major front by the Soviet Union, German Reich, and the Orion Treaty Organization. In 2275, an American led intervention succeeded in the partial restoration of the Federation government, and the recognition of four newly independent nations.
