Al Mouakket is the capital world of the United Provinces of Tau Ceti. It was named after Muhammad al Achsasi al Mouakket, an Egyptian astronomer who compiled a catalogue of stars in the 17th century, which included Tau Ceti as Thālith al Na'āmāt.

Cold War

In 2285, Al Mouakket hosted the Olympic Games. The Soviet Union and the United States dominated the medal count, with the Republic of Korea taking 3rd place. The Axis Powers, including the German Reich, led a boycott of the 85' Al Mouakket Olympic Games.
