The Patres Patriae (English: Fathers of the fatherland) is a subcluster of star systems located entirely inside the Mare Nostrum.
It is situated on the trailward edge of the Mare Nostrum, immediately rimward of Septem Colles, coreward of the Elysian Fields, and is the rimward-most subcluster controlled by the Italian Social Republic.
The subcluster includes one sovereign state: the Italian Social Republic.
The Patres Patriae is principally comprised of five primary star systems: Cavour, Dux, Garibaldi, Mazzini, and V. Emanuele.
Etymology
