History
Acadian Wars
During the Acadian Wars, the Tour Saint-Véran was used by democratic forces to repel Castinean armored columns and air attacks, preventing Castine from capturing Fontclair. As a result of the successful utilization of the Tour Saint-Véran as a defensive position, it was christened the "Véran Fortress."
