The Arcturus Subcluster is a group of seven star systems located within the Local Cluster. The subcluster includes one settled system which is home to the subcluster's sole sovereign state, the Union of Arcturan Republics. This state is classified as a non-legacy nation, emerging entirely in the post-Earth era.

Etymology

From the ancient Greek Ἀρκτοῦρος ("Arktouros"), meaning "Guardian of the Bear."

Astrography

The Arcturus Subcluster is situated coreward-by-trailward of the Solar Subcluster, between the Mare Nostrum trailward and Vega Cluster coreward-by-spinward.
