The Union of Arcturan Republics, commonly known as Arcturus, is a Non-Legacy Nation within the Arcturus Subcluster. It is a Middle Power, and a member of the League of Nations.

Events

Arcturus Arms Expo

The Arcturus Arms Expo is one of the Orion Arm's leading defense exhibitions and is regarded as the largest in the Orion Arm. The most recent edition attracted more than 20,000 exhibitors from 113 nations and other entities, setting a record for participation and solidifying its status as the largest defense exhibition.

With ongoing conflicts across the Orion Arm, competition among the participants can be particularly intense. In previous years, rivalries between companies involved in active conflicts have manifested in highly competitive exhibitions and demonstrations, often aimed at showcasing technical superiority.

Arcturus Arms '85 will feature the participation of the British Army. An official announcement made by the UK Ministry of War has confirmed the presence of the British Army and associated industries outside of the local exhibitions, a rare occurrence. The Expo is expected to highlight the latest British battlefield information systems and cybernetic technologies.

According to a report from the Centauri Sentinel, a member of the infamous Merchants of Death list has already made movements months before the event, adding to the anticipation and controversy surrounding this year's edition.
