The Septem Colles is a group of seven star systems within the Mare Nostrum. The subcluster includes seven colonized systems belonging solely to the Italian Social Republic. As a Legacy Nation, it shares strong direct historical, cultural, and linguistic ties to a nation that once existed on Earth.
Etymology
Latin. Septem ("seven"). Colles, plural of collis (“hill”).
Septem Colles (English: The Seven Hills) refers to the seven hills of Rome on Earth, which formed the geographical heart of the city prior to the evacuation of Earth.
Astrography
Septem Colles is situated coreward of Patres Patriae and trailward of Mare Nostrum.
