The Arcturus Subcluster is a group of 10 star systems located within the Local Cluster. The subcluster includes one settled system which is home to the subcluster's sole sovereign state, the Union of Arcturan Republics. This state is classified as a non-legacy nation, emerging entirely in the post-Earth era.

Etymology

From the ancient Greek Ἀρκτοῦρος ("Arktouros"), meaning "Guardian of the Bear."

Astrography

The Arcturus Subcluster is situated coreward of the Amazonia Cluster, trailward of the Solar Subcluster, and rimward of the Vega Cluster and Mare Nostrum.
