The Golden Horn is a subcluster of star systems located on rimward-by-trailward edge of the Calypso Deeps of the Local Supercluster.
It is situated directly trailward of the Magellan Subcluster.
The subcluster includes one sovereign state: the Republic of Callwood and the Heinlein Colonial Republic.
The Golden Horn is comprised of twelve star systems: Arges, Calhoun, Callwood, Clarke, Cyril, Heinlein, Hughes, Lysander, Madona, Solomon, Sparrow, and Zheng He.
Etymology
The Golden Horn is named after an old urban waterway in the Bosporus Strait in what was once Turkey on Earth. Its Turkish name was Altın Boynuz or Halic.
