Ular Ketawa is a group of eight star systems located on the spinward edge of the Local Supercluster. The subcluster has no colonized systems nor sovereign states residing within it.
Etymology
Malay ular ("snake") + ke (prefix) + tawa (to laugh).
Ular Ketawa (English: The Laughing Snake) refers both to the subcluster's serpentine shape - and to the high level of piracy in the subcluster.
Astrography
The Ular Ketawa subcluster is situated coreward of the New Canaan Corridor, rimward of the Well of Embers, and spinward of the Senekane Subcluster.
