The Local Cluster is a cluster of star systems located in the core of the Local Supercluster. It extends outward with Sol at its approximate center, outward to the Lyran Veil on its coreward edge, the Amazonia Cluster on its trailing edge, the Calypso Deeps on its rimward edge, and the Indian Arm on its spinward edge. It contains five constituent subclusters and approximately 39 star systems.

Etymology
The name "Local Cluster" follows the precedent established by astronomer Edwin Hubble's naming of the galaxy group including the Milky Way as the "Local Group".
