The Independent State of Mongibello, commonly known as Mongibello, Is a Non-Legacy Nation within the Elysian Fields. It is a Middle Power, and a member of the League of Nations, the Pact of Rome, and the Axis Powers.

Mongibello is known in the Elysian Fields for its wealth of natural resources. Its capital city, Typhos, was initially settled along the Corona Rossa volcanic range as a mining and agricultural colony, aiming to take advantage of the plentiful mineral resources continually exposed by the frequent eruptions occurring there. The regular volcanic activity on the planet has allowed Mongibello to develop a regional monopoly on materials from precious metals to rare earth elements and exotic trace elements.

Mongibello and Typhos have also developed a reputation in the Elysian Fields for natural spectacle as a result of its volcanic environment. The planet experiences irregular seasons as a result of major volcanic eruptions that occur along the Corona Rossa volcanic range. As part of its active season-changing eruptive periods, the range also contributes to a popular natural phenomena. During these major eruption events, dust and ash from the volcanoes react with the planet's atmosphere to create streaks of crimson and gold that have become known as the "Winter Fires", a spectacle that attracts tourists from across the region and is celebrated as a natural wonder. The city of Typhos itself is built on the edge of the range, nestled among weaving rivers and streams of magma that flow from nearby volcanoes, creating a unique appearance that has made it a popular port of call and the focal destination for tourists travelling to experience Winter Fires.
