The Calypso Deeps is a cluster of 89 star systems located in the Local Supercluster. The cluster includes 16 colonized systems and contains at least 8 countries. With the notable exception of the Republic of Türkiye, all of the nations of the Calypso Deeps are non-legacy nations.
Etymology
The Calypso Deeps is named after a nymph from Homer's Odyssey that detained the Odyssey's protagonist, Odysseus, for seven years against his will. Calypso (/kəˈlɪpsoʊ/; Ancient Greek: Καλυψώ, romanized: Kalupsō, lit. 'she who conceals').
Astrography
The Calypso Deeps are situated rimward of the Local Cluster, spinward of the Amazonia Cluster and Sea of Clouds, and trailward of the New Canaan Corridor.

There are six nexus star systems in the Calypso Deeps, each possessing at least four translight strings converging there: Anansi, Gonzalo, Encruzilhada, Callwood, Menouf, and Sparrow.
