The National Republic of Castine, commonly known as Castine, is a Non-Legacy Nation located in the Acadian Expanse. It is a Middle Power and a member of the League of Nations and Free Acadia.

During the Acadian Wars, the National Republic failed to take the famed "Veran Fortress" of the Fontclair Megalopolis, a 4 kilometer tall skyscraper located at the center of the city.

Fontclair Civil War

A civil war in the Fontclair Planetary System has become a proxy war fought between the Federation of Acadia and the National Republic of Castine.
